Office Policies
Doctor Barry recommends a complimentary preliminary telephone consultation with him to determine if formal scheduling is appropriate or if another course is preferable. This consultation does not commit or oblige one to treatment.
The consultation may be arranged by calling 305-466-4062 during regular office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern).
If a formal consultation is indicated and desired, the consultation and treatment procedure are scheduled together for the same first visit.
Financial Policies
Initial consultation: $200
Procedure: $500 per finger
Payment is due at the time of service unless arrangements have been made in advance. We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card.
We do not accept any insurance but will file for you.
- Keep in mind that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier. The reimbursement level depends upon the policy itself. Most carriers reimburse for out-of-network services.
- Medicare is erratic in its compensation. Although we have filed using the code 26040, palmar fasciotomy, the code still is inaccurate for the needle aponeurotomy. Our attempts to educate have been futile.
